I'd like to respond with my own experiences with some of the issues presented. - Our rent hasn't increased (yet); I'm aware that can happen, as we live in Dallas and cost of living is increasing dramatically in almost all areas. I have friends in other apartment complexes whose rent went up $200-300 last year while ours did not change. Again, I'm aware that that may not be the case if we renew our lease, but I am grateful for the same rate while we've got it. - "Insulation" is admittedly pretty weak around the windows and sliding doors. We are pretty stubborn with turning on the heat or AC, though, and can personally bear the cold or heat from outside fairly well. We don't run our HVAC during the day to save on that bill. Insulation around windows and sliding doors could definitely be improved. - We have never been towed on this property. My sister has been towed, and that is because we failed to remember to register her car; that is our fault, and now we ensure all guests are registered upon arrival. Check for signs around the property for guest car registration instructions. - The appliances are dated. We have a white fridge and oven with no front window (check out the kitchen on the virtual tour of the D5 unit on Windridge's website). Guess what? They work perfectly fine! You can find apartments all around Addison with modern and updated finishes, and you'll pay a pretty penny for those. It's all about what's important to you. - We have thankfully never dealt with a faulty HVAC system. At the beginning of winter 2021, we realized our heat wouldn't turn on. Maintenance came that same day and fixed the issue in 30 minutes. Our heat works wonderfully. - Maintenance is quick and kind. They come in, do their job, and head out. - The women at the front office have been short with me before, but we all have our days. I've had more good experiences than bad with them. - While parking can be slim on weekends, we always manage to find a spot near our apartment. - We have never experienced roaches or other bugs. I haven't seen the property bring any extermination companies out to spray around the buildings, but I'm sure they would do so if asked. All in all, I have really enjoyed my experience with Windridge. I'm a big believer in the fact that we get what we pay for. In all honesty, I think I get a little more than I pay for :) This has been a fantastic first apartment and I'm happy to have made my home here. UPDATE: today Windridge had people come by to better insulate the windows and doors in the apartments here. I feel like my review was genuinely taken into account.

helpful when i call. The young black one is too. They seem like they care about the tenants but i guess time will really tell. The apartment is nice, looks better in person than in the pictures. I had a problem with the water being too hot, and they fixed it almost immediately. The surrounding community is clean and very business oriented. Lots of shops, foods, bars, business parks and even a mall right down the street. Lots of people from all different backgrounds.

11 year resident - great place to live

I hate apartment hunting for a number of reasons, but the worst is the bait and switch. You find some nice looking apartments ... sign a lease, move in and then something breaks or you have an issue and the staff becomes rude or the maintenance person takes forever. It's happened so many times I just came to expect it, but thankfully I was pleasantly surprised here at Windridge. I put in a maintenance request and someone is here within 48 hours. Whenever I call the office someone not only answers the phone but is positive and truly happy to help. The only downside is parking if you have a second vehicle, but it isn't that bad. We moved to Texas almost three months. We didn't have the opportunity to tour the community or to travel to visit the area ... before moving. We considered Windridge Apartments because it didn't have awful reviews, the rent is within budget, it's close to work, and it's central to major locations. The girls at the office were very accommodating with our family from the first day we made a called to inquired. Seneida made a video of our apartment and sent it to us via email which was so helpful! We are very pleased with the attention the staff have given us thus far. Very Satisfied Resident!
I have lived here since 2011. The rent is reasonable. The location is central to everywhere you would like to go. The ... management staff is organized and friendly and willing to help in any way they can. The maintenance staff is on the ball and gets things done in an acceptable and timely manner. The grounds are neat. The complex itself is quiet. The two exceptions are: the traffic on Noel Road and the few cars who feel the need to drive through the complex with their music blaring. Neither of these can be prevented by the management and I do not hold them accountable or responsible for this. I would love to say all positives about this complex, but there is one thing that's a BIG negative. It's been a negative since the day I moved in. It is the only thing (and I truly mean THE ONLY THING) preventing me from giving this review a full 5 stars in every category. The parking absolutely 100% positively sucks. There are simply not enough parking spaces for the number of cars. Each apartment is only allowed 1 covered parking spot. Anyone else has to park in visitors' parking, but they are always ALWAYS full (did I say always??), leaving your visitors having to park on the street and walk to your apartment. The parking sucks. I have lived here for over 5 years. I've been very satisfied with my experience. There are always going to be issues but ... the way they are handled is whats counts. If i had one complaint its the towing of cars after hours. I don't know that there is a solution to the problem but I've been caught a few times and have had my car towed or a visitors car towed because we were a few minutes past curfew. A few of the things I like most about this property is the trash pick up around the property every morning. wind ridge is a great apartment complex. staff, maintenance, and great location. we are living here for 7 years and do not ... want to move anywhere else. the only thing, I think, needs to change is the grassy grounds . some of these curb side turn pale as the weather changes. in my view it will look better if instead of grass , management can put big decorative stone or cement the entire thing and plant trees only.
